An author’s job doesn’t stop when she writes “the end,” but for the next part, I need YOUR help!
I’m always looking for more beta-readers to preview upcoming projects.
You can receive an early draft of an upcoming book to read over - what I’m asking is that you note down your feedback on what you liked and didn’t like, any inconsistencies you spot, how you felt about the ending and the characters, etc.
Beta-readers’ names (or pseudonyms) are also published on the Acknowledgements page of the final version when the book goes to print.
You would have about a month to read through the book. I welcome feedback from all ages and all walks of life—anyone with the time and interest can become a beta reader!
Currently in the Beta stage:
Small Ball, a YA girls’ basketball drama set in Newfoundland
Projects after that include a middle-grade dystopian adventure-drama, a teen time-travel drama serial, a short contemporary New Adult novel, and a YA romantic fantasy drama set in a world quite unlike our own.
